The Uganda Internet eXchange Point acts as a central, neutral interconnect between major local networks. The UIXP allows traffic originating from one local network to reach another quickly and inexpensively.

Note that not all Internet Service Providers are connected to the UIXP. For more information including a list of which networks are connected, visit the UIXP website: http://uixp.co.ug
